Domum is a planet inhabited by most of my characters, excluding certain open species and Warrior Cats. It is a planet that is very earth-like in that the physics and such are the same, but it is plagued by the spontaneous, and entirely random, presence of interplanetary, and occasionally interdimensional, portals. These portals appear randomly throughout the planet, and force creatures and sentients from different planets and dimensions to Domum, where they are currently unable to return. Research is being done constantly to attempt to figure out what is causing these portals, commonly referred elegantly as "Spots," to appear, and how to control them.
The presence of many different species and cultures has sparked many wars, and the leaders of each country are trying to work together to provide a peaceful world for their strange, and often unwilling, inhabitants.
Needless to say, prisons are plenty.

What sentient races inhabit the world?
[ Because of the Spots that appear randomly throughout the world, warping creatures from many, many different worlds to Domum, it is a very, very diverse planet. Its governments have done all that they can to ensure the newcomers (called "outcasts" a fluid transition from their old world into the new one. ]
In what ratios?
[ The native species in Domum (Commids, Morphs, Bire, Derterri, Tiandu and Ogon) make up approximately 50% of the population all together. The other 50% is made up of all the other creatures that have been cast to Domum through Spots, called "Outcasts" ]
What is the population of:
- the world Approximately 5.2 billion sentients
- countries Between 500,000 and 60 million, depending on the size and state of the country
- cities 75,000 and up
- towns Between 2,000 and 75,999
- villages Between 100 and 1,999
What languages are spoken?
[ All sentient beings are taught Commid (like english) in order to communicate with the rest of the planet, but they bring their own and many prefer to continue speaking in their native tongue one way or the other, in order to preserve some of that which they once had in their old worlds. ]
Do the races have specific cultural and customary rituals?
[ Yes, each species keeps their cultural preferences, but they are made aware that they must follow the laws set in their country, which occasionally conflict with their cultures and rituals. ]
How important are they?
[ here ]
What else is notable about the races?
[ here ]
What other creatures inhabit the world?
[ Any non sentient being that arrived to Domum through a Spot is known as a Creature. Any non sentient being that is native to Domum is called an Animid. ]
