Technology
What level of technology exists on this world?
[ Technology isn't as advanced on Domum as it is on earth. The sentients find most technology to be useless, and would rather do whatever task they're trying to do on their own, without the use or help of anything mechanical. There are certain advanced pieces of technology, but they are few and far between, due to the lack of scientists and engineers willing to create them. ]
What level of technology exists for weaponry?
[ Guns exist but are incredibly uncommon, most wars and battles and such are fought using swords and bows, and other ranged or melee weapons that are simple in construct. ]
Is is the same globally, or does it differ?
[ The attitude about technology is generally universal, but there are some countries that are heavily focused on developing useful technology. ]
Is it distributed by racial or economic factors?
[ Each country has its own rules about technology, but generally it is creator-controlled, and therefore rather expensive. Most impoverished communities contain a very, very low number of technological devices, whereas wealthier communities often have a surplus of them. ]
Does this impact on the story?
[ It does. Communication between the Cymrixes is very important, but in order to blend in with their surroundings during their journey, they must abandon the devices, and have very little knowledge of how to communicate to the other Cymrixes without them. ]

Magic/Supernatural
Is there magic or other supernatural in this world?
[ Any supernatural or magical creatures and abilities exist as they did in their previous world, but not in the same way. ]
More than one type?
[ There are many, many different types. ]
How does magic work?
[ It works however it used to work in the sentient's origin world, but is much weaker and difficult to complete. ]
What are the limits of magic?
[ Magical capabilities are strongly limited due to Domum's unique planetary properties. Most magic users decide to abandon magical capabilities due to this, though there are some who hone their skills and become very strong magic users, known as Kedu. ]
What magic taboos exist?
[ It is universally considered a taboo to use one's magical abilities to impersonate a Cymrix, avoid the duties of caring for a Pygal, or to harm a young sentient or Pygal. ]
